My augmented reality research focus is to create of a handheld screen through which a user can view a digitally augmented version of the world. By making use of cameras and inertial sensors, the device will be able to track its location in the world which will make large scale markerless augmented reality environments a possibility.
A laptop, two cameras and some sensors will be the hardware used for this device. Using current high-end hardware it possible to i to create a prototype of the type of mobile devices we will have in five to ten years’ time. This make it possible to experiment with AR applications that requires hardware that’s not yet available today. My contact details: email@example.com
